Poem: Felicity, Fellowship and Friendship Forever
No man is an island,
The poet John Donne wrote long ago.
It is not good for man to be alone;
That's a truth God wants us to know.
A lone wolf is an easy target
For the stalking lion Satan, waiting to strike.
There truly is strength in numbers;
Brothers and sisters united; Their spirits so much alike.
A good friend brings joy and comfort.
If one falls, one can help the other up.
There is great value in sticking together.
In tough times, a friend's encouragement is often enough.
For just as iron sharpens iron,
So does a friend sharpen a friend.
Good fellowship brings felicity to all involved,
As each stands by the other to the end.
All for one, one for all.
Never abandon the one lost sheep.
Seek to help the one in need.
Care for each other with a love so deep.
It is harmful to hold all our worries and burdens to ourselves.
We should share with each other our thoughts, hopes and our dream.
We shouldn't be selfish with our help or our time.
Be cheerfully giving, for there is no I in team.
