On Friday evening, January 19, Bethel Church members gathered and prayed together earnestly as they sought the Lord's favor for the city, the ministry, the church, and members. Elim Washington D.C. director Swan Hahm led the prayer meeting.

Swan delivered the message based on the book of Ezra chapter 9 where the people of Israel come together to repent with deep sorrow towards God. Everyone received encouragement to pray with the same heart of Ezra, who prayed for the sins of everyone sincerely before God.

Elim staff Kim also shared, "It's easy for us to become cold-hearted and only focus on myself during the time of difficulty. However, the message was guiding us all to pray with the heart of carrying each other's cross and repenting on behalf of our brothers and sisters as we keep a public heart of repentance."

Everyone prayed earnestly for the community, the church, ministries in Washington D.C. and for the members. May Lord have mercy on everything that is happening there.
