The Light At The End Of The Tunnel

When we are drowning at our lowest depths

When darkness enshrouds us all around

It's then that we need to pause and reflect

On all the blessings that abound.

It's very hard to see the good things

Like we did in days gone by

But nothing lasts forever

All must one day die.

Despite the pain, faith is so essential

We know better times will come again

There's a light at the end of the tunnel

Our broken hearts, our loving God will mend.

Jesus taught us to persevere no matter what

Hope can be found if we don't despair

God may test but never fail us

We must not submit to worries and fear.

There will always be a new day dawning

If we can hold on through the night

It's always darkest before the dawn

Allow Jesus to be our guiding light.
