If Tomorrow Never Comes

On Sep 05, 2017 05:54 PM EDT

If tomorrow never comes,

Did we do good works for God today?

Did we live with love and faith

No matter what may have come our way?

We can't take any day for granted.

We never know what the future has in store.

We should live each day as if it's our last.

Our time on earth could be no more.

I'll have no regrets if I know that I did

The tasks I was put here to do.

I want to fulfill God's purpose all of my days,

Before the time comes to say adieu.

Worry cannot give us an hour more,

So every day should be made to count.

I treasure the good and beauty I find on earth

Each day until my time runs out.

I believe in Jesus;  He won't disappoint.

His words are honest and true.

If there are no more tomorrows for me here on earth.

I'll look forward to heaven and life anew.
