Elim Center Headquarters Meditates on the Prayer of Jesus Christ in Sunday Service
Elim Center headquarters had a graceful Sunday Service on August 7, during which preacher pastor Zechariah delivered the message of Luke 22: 39-46, Jesus Christ's prayer at the Gethsemane to lead members into the deep meditation of the cross of Jesus Christ and the love of God towards this sinful world that was revealed through the Son.
"Jesus is at a position of loneliness. He is at the position of carrying the cross. The cup is a bitter cup and someone has to take it. Who? The son of God needs to take the cup. Jesus Christ is the true son of God and His prayer is to save the whole world. The night in Gethsemane is so important in the human history. Without prayer there will be no history of victory. Jacob fights with the angel throughtout the night. Our Lord prayed whole night. Jesus didn't give up when nobody was there praying together with him. At the moment when everyone fell down Jesus stayed until the last moment. Through your Lord's Prayer 2000 years ago we are blessed today. And we receive a lot of blessings and we pray in Jesus' name and receive the Holy Spirit. When we pray he will answer us directly. We need to think about the sacrifice of our Lord and others. We are given the grace of God because of other's sacrifices and the biggest is our Lord's sacrifice.
Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. Today we need to fight together. That's the most important thing. If everyone skips the responsibility, our Lord will be very lonely. We should fight together instead of running away. 2000 years ago He was alone, but we don't want Him to be alone any more. We want to fight with Him and be together with Him. When we pray sincerely, heaven will help us. God will help us to go to the end." pastor Zechariah preached.
The sermon deeply touched the congregation's hearts and they prayed for one hour after the service in response the love of God and to pray for the whole community, praying to have the same heart as Jesus and to carry the cross together and fight together in prayers and in love.
